dreams of candles and tea
reflections through poetry
up for any interpretations
how to be a human
keep an open mind.
be able to expand your knowledge, and not expect
more of yourself than you can afford to.
question, and question those questions.
learn as many things as you can in a year, and be
open to being unsure and vulnerable, it will help you grow, and
really try to grow.
learn by conversing, wondering, and challenging yourself.
learn by interacting with the world,
and keep those interactions constant and refreshed.
become interested in the deeper meaning,
the more complex and intricate meaning.
learn, think and share.
ignorance does not help our world.
awareness, appreciation, perception and an understanding
of our society and culture does.
aspire to learn.
prepare for the worst
death —
what is it?
it’s what you want it to be.
it’s annihilation,
it’s the luxury —
the relaxation at the end
of a long journey.
it’s what we trust
will be at the end.
we prepare for the worst —
what is the worst?
life
and we must long for
the acceptance of
death
live for others
to live for others, or
to live for yourself?
such a contrasting idea,
yet not always seen as such.
though when it is
brought into the light,
it’s a vibrant,
vivid thought
that asks you —
once again —
how do you want to live?
becoming more or less yourself
growing,
changing your outlook,
your perspective,
your wealth.
— when in possession
of value
we avail it,
we avail ourselves,
so much
that our perception
becomes blurry
love
to love,
to nurture,
to appreciate.
love is connection,
the feeling of joy and support
as you dig deeper into
the world
and it’s mysteries —
and you share your own.
love is the feeling of completion
of people who mean so much
including
yourself
create
leaving a part of yourself
in the world when all you really have left
is your graveyard.
there is a love and mysticism
of sharing only to the ones
you trust the most —
a vulnerability —
an intimacy.
create both what you wish
to slip into the memories of strangers
and cherish as your own
make a million mistakes
believe
believe that you are going to what?
meet perfection?
succeed?
success is what you make of it —
it’s persistence to keep going,
it’s determination
to differentiate from society.
we can’t believe anymore,
if we believe we set ourselves up for
mistakes and disappointments —
we can only be okay
with where we are
and who we are
